In order to continuously consolidate the foundation of enterprise development and strengthen the construction of skilled talent team, Kane New Materials Company not only does a good job in vocational skills training, but also continues to promote the construction of talent training platform and skill evaluation system. In recent years, it has become one of the first enterprises in our county to obtain independent vocational level recognition qualifications. In May 2025, under the collaborative guidance of the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Kane New Materials carried out the first vocational skill level certification (senior fitter worker) activity through an independent platform, and combined vocational level evaluation with skill competitions to promote practice and create a strong atmosphere of learning and catching up. A total of 26 company fitters participated in the event.

The promotion of the professional level to the certification of senior fitter requires both theoretical exams and practical exams for workpiece processing, with high requirements and no false recruitment. Since the company released the activity notice, the fitter team has been on fire, and employees are unwilling to fall behind, actively registering and seizing this good opportunity for self-improvement.

For a moment, the entire fitter team entered a tense atmosphere of preparing for the exam. As soon as everyone had free time in the workshop or after dinner, they made full use of every little bit of time, whether it was reading books, doing exercises, or rushing to the on-site machine equipment to practice. People jokingly say that the tense atmosphere is no less than preparing for the college entrance examination.

Equally nervous and busy as the fitters are the company's exam preparation team, which has formulated a series of exam standards, created a deep and down-to-earth question bank closely linked to practical work, and selected a representative workpiece for operation. All of these embody the dedication and efforts of the exam and competition organizers.

After nearly a month of active preparation, the company successfully organized exams and competitions in two batches on May 27th and 29th. The theoretical exam center is located at the company headquarters, and the on-site operation is located at the county vocational and technical school.

The on-site practical content this time is the alignment test of the coupling device. Couplings are very common and important components in the company's slurry pumps and water pumps. They are fundamental and important components in the actual work of the company, and are very representative. The exam requires precise calibration of concentricity and angle according to the process requirements sheet, reflecting practical hands-on effort. The assessment is conducted on-site by a review team consisting of three experts to score and evaluate. Some people completed the exam perfectly and submitted it beautifully, while others were too nervous and did not perform to their expected level. They regretfully left and said they would fight again next year. Here, it truly embodies the feeling of one minute on stage and ten years of hard work off stage.

Evidence collection and awards, a new milestone in the cultivation of skilled talents

Effort will bring rewards. The company and employees are one and moving forward at the same time. On the afternoon of June 9, 2025, the Kane New Materials Vocational Skill Level Improvement and Employee Skill Competition (Fitter Project) Award Ceremony was held in the company's conference hall. The company's deputy general manager, financial director Xie Meizhen, deputy general manager, marketing director Ying Jianchang, senior consultant Chen Wanping, company union chairman Fu Weilin and other company leaders, as well as the head of the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau's Vocational Capacity Building Department Zhou Dongya, deputy head Xu Junnong, and all employees of the company's Equipment Department attended the ceremony together.

In this competition, Chai Xianfeng, who ranked first in both theory and practical operation, won the championship with a high score of 98.45 points and was awarded the first prize at the meeting; Dou Yongfeng and Lynn Hua were awarded the second prize; Su Jie, Zhou Weijing, and Li Jianhui won the third prize. Many of the winners are class leaders, which fully demonstrates the professionalism and combat effectiveness of the team.

Zhou Dongya, the head of the Vocational Capacity Building Department of the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, gave a speech at the meeting. She said that Kane is a key leading enterprise in our county and one of the first enterprises in our county to obtain the qualification of independent vocational level recognition. This qualification has high requirements for the scale, system, and talent team construction of enterprises, and is also a positive response to the country's efforts to build a great country of craftsmen and promote the construction of skilled talent teams. I hope that through these supporting policies, we can stimulate the cultivation of more skilled talents, emerge more skilled masters, participate in higher-level competitions, and like Zheng Jianbo, a skilled master from Kane, win honors for our county.
