Development History
1940
In 1939, the manager of Shanghai Kaicheng Stationery Co., Ltd., Mr. He Zuyin, sent Mr. Huang Guoyuan to Suichang to borrow materials from the local area. He rented residential houses and built thatched huts in Dongyu Street, Miaogao Town, and opened the "Kaicheng Paper Factory". In January 1940, he began producing iron pen wax paper base paper.
1958
In April 1958, the public-private joint venture Suichang Leather Paper Factory (formerly known as Xinye Paper Factory, Chanxin Paper Factory, and Wenxin Paper Factory) was merged into this factory and renamed as "Local State owned Suichang Paper Factory".
1996
In 1996, the straw pulp production line was shut down and all were converted to commercial pulp to eliminate pulp pollution.
2000
In 2000, the foundation of Kan High tech Industrial Park was laid. In 2002, it was renamed as Zhejiang KAN Special Materials Co., Ltd. In 2004, the company's IPO was successful and its stock was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
2006
From 2000 to 2006, Kan High tech Park was constructed, and 10 new production lines were built to upgrade equipment and production capacity.
2011
From 2007 to 2011, advanced foreign equipment was introduced and all production lines were upgraded, achieving a doubling of production capacity; In 2011, Cairn Corporation successfully issued additional shares.
2023
In 2022, KY-01 paper machine was successfully put into operation and a start-up ceremony was held; Complete equity restructuring by May 2023.
