In order to motivate more workers, especially the younger generation, to take the path of skill development and service to the country, cultivate more highly skilled talents and great country craftsmen, and continuously improve the skill literacy of workers in the paper-making industry throughout the province, from November 2-3, sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and undertaken by the Quzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Quzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Quzhou Intelligent Manufacturing New City Federation of Trade Unions, Paper Industry Productivity Promotion Center, and Quzhou Branch of China Pulp and Paper Research Institute The 2023 Zhejiang Paper Industry Vocational Skills Competition, co organized by the Quzhou Special Paper Industry Association and others, was successfully held in Quzhou City.

This competition was selected layer by layer in the early stage, and a total of 9 key backbone enterprises in the papermaking industry from various cities in the province formed teams. Nearly 50 participants participated in this competition. A team consisting of four contestants, including Zhang Biqiang, Kong Yuling, Zhou Lifen, and Wu Caiyan, from Kane New Materials Co., Ltd., represented the Lishui region in this competition.

The competition consists of two job positions: paper craftsman and quality inspector. Through the closed book basic theoretical knowledge exam and practical skills exam, the participants will be assessed for their mastery of basic knowledge and skill operation level.

This practical skills competition project is closely related to the actual needs of papermaking production, fully reflecting the exquisite skills of papermaking workers in the new era. The competition venue was tense and orderly, with enthusiastic participants competing for speed, craftsmanship, and skills. Each contestant competed against time and demonstrated an extremely high level of professional skills.

After two days of intense competition, the representative team of Lishui City, composed of employees from our company, won the fourth place and won the third prize in the group award. Company employee Kong Yuling also won the fourth place in the craftsman project and the third prize in the individual award.

Yan Yongping, Deputy Minister of the Quality Control Department of Kane New Materials, who led the company's relevant personnel to participate in this competition, said about his thoughts on the competition. Although we have achieved some results in the first provincial paper industry vocational skills competition, we should summarize the entire process and pay more attention to theoretical and practical training in our future work. At the same time, we should also increase some related internal competition activities to improve the theoretical and skill levels of relevant personnel through competitions, build a more exquisite skill team, and continuously empower the development of the company.

Kong Yuling, who won a personal award, said that this paper making professional skills competition is not only about skills, but also a demonstration of various abilities. Our biggest gain in this competition is not winning or losing, but learning from each other's strengths, discovering our own shortcomings, and gaining new knowledge and experience. Achieve the Light of Blue Collar in the Splashing of Welding Flowers

On the morning of November 11th, 2023, the three competition projects of Welder, Electrician, and Automotive Repair Worker of the Suichang County Ecological Industry Series Vocational Skills Competition kicked off at the Suichang Technical School. 117 contestants from all three competition projects in the county gathered together to compete on the same stage and compete to catch up. This competition will be conducted as an individual competition, using a combination of written tests and operational skill assessments. Zhou Weijing, an employee of Kane New Materials Equipment Department, participated in the welder competition project. At the welding competition site, there were bursts of welding sounds and sparks shooting. The contestants wore protective masks and held welding guns, all focused and strictly followed the competition rules. They completed the 12mm tilting plate butt welding 4G and pipe butt welding 45 ° fixed welding in sequence. The entire process fully demonstrated the exquisite skills and superb welding skills of the contestants.

After fierce competition, our employee Zhou Weijing won the second prize in the welding competition of the ecological industry series project competition in the 2023 Suichang County Vocational Skills Competition. And at the same time, he was awarded the honorary titles of "Suichang County Technical Expert" and "Suichang Golden Blue Collar".

After the competition, Zhou Weijing said that he has been working in the welding industry for 10 years. This time, he participated in the competition in the hope of testing his skills, further identifying and filling gaps, and exchanging and learning with competitors in the same industry.
